Did a small order from Tacklke Warehouse and bought a Okuma Serrano casting reel for $90 from Amazon and a 6ft. St Croix med casting rod for $42 from Gander. Oh horny toads for .99 a pack.

Not a Black Friday deal...but I came across a guy on craigslist that said he was quiting fishing and selling everything he had. When I asked him what he had, one of the things he mentioned was a Shimano baitcaster that he pronounced CORD. Anyway when I got to his house he just didn't seem to know squat about fishing. The Core was mounted on a Cumara (which he pronounced Camaro). Got the pair for 50 after about 30 seconds of negotiating. If this stuff was hot (not saying that it was....) what would yall have done? Handed him the cash and hit the road? called the law? I felt caught in a moral dilemma. I have had stuff stolen from me before and just the thought of somebody buying and using my stuff makes me ill. Is saying that gear is untraceable and if I don't buy it and use it somebody else will just a cop out?

50% off at Boca Bearings. After briefly trying a pair of orange seals this fall and immediately noticing a difference, I had to order another pair... or two...
Other than that and some stuff for my secret santa from TW, I didn't get much fishing stuff this year. BB

Wow Kenneth, that's an amazing deal, a little too amazing maybe? I think it would have to be a judgment call on your part. It would be next to impossible to ever prove where the stuff came from unless he could provide receipts and would also be impossible to find the rightful owner if the stuff was stolen. It's not like they have serial numbers. I understand why you are having mixed emotions on this one, it would be hard not to. You got a hell of a deal on some great gear though!
I had a decent Black Friday this year. I hit BPS for a couple of $10 hoodies and fleece jackets and some miscellaneous baits. I took advantage of TW's 20% off sale and got some stuff for me and some stuff for secret santa. I'm pretty excited about the things I got my ss and myself at TW, I've never used them before and can't wait to check them out. I also got Orange Seals for 2 reels from Boca during their 50% off sale, thanks Anthony. This week I've hit BPS up for 11 RC Lucky Crafts at $10. All in all, a pretty good score.

Amazing deal, kenneth. I ended up going to the local cabelas again and bought a 7' MH Prodigy casting rod. Sweet! Has kind of a medium tip action- perfect for crankbaits. Think I'll pair it up with a BPS Prolite Special. Speaking of those, anybody tried out the Prolite Special? They seem pretty decent.

I hope yall noticed that the rod is 2'6" of pure power and the reel has spinning/rotating/gyrating/flashing lights activated each time you push the button. Fairy reel? I don't think so! Should be called the BaDinkaDunk!!
