Default May be helpfull

I've used lure wraps and they stink...hooks get inbedded into cover or stitching.

I may give this a try but...$9

That is a great innovation. Although the $9 price is a bit steep for me, when you factor in all the r and d , money, blood, sweat and tears put in, it would probably be a fair price.

Nice find, JD!

I might have to get those since I got rid of my truck. I don't want hooks catching anything in the trailblazer.

Guys, take a look here:

http://www.bassproradio.com/Articles/Covers.html

I've been using them for years. $9 will buy enough material to make a bunch of these. I got maroon which is light enough to write what the lure is-shallow, deep, topwater, etc. with a sharpie so I know at a glance what is tied on. I probably have 10 on different rods ready to go, and I still have material left to make more if needed. Lose one? Make another one. Even with the velcro they probably cost about $.50 each. Why pay several bucks for one when you can make them just as easy and for a lot less.

If the hooks get caught in the foam just tear it out. Does not hurt the effectiveness at all-just reposition it if needed, or make a new one. Simple to make and easy to use.

Hey Reb thanks. I now have a girlfriend that loves to sew. Matter of fact she wants to go to the sewing store today. I'll ask for these to be made for my birthday. Problem solved for putting rods in the truck.

Glad to help, Bob. Like I said, these things are simple to make, cheap, and really work well.
