Update

I guess you guys thought I had dropped off the planet. I have checked in regularly but no time to post. Life has been a roller coaster ride for the last 18 mos. We lost my father-in-law to cancer on May 12. He put up a strong fight and we knew from the beginning it was terminal. The funeral was on may 15. That evening, after the funeral, we received a call from our dog-sitter for our 14.5 yr. old dog. She was having a seizure when the sitter arrived and died before she could get to a vet. We were already hurting from the loss of my father-in-law and were just devastated with the loss of our little dog, compounded by the guilt of not being here with her at the end. Sometimes life just knocks you flat and then kicks you when you are down. We are hanging tough and getting a little better each day. Some moments are harder than others.

On another note, for all of those of you who have served this great country, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrifice! You are remembered!

Glad to see you back, but very sad to hear about what you have been dealt with in you life. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Wish I could do more. God bless.
