Default Shore Fishin

I usually fish from a boat but this weekend I am going to my buddies lake house and we will be boatless. If anyone has advice for fishin from the shore I'd sure appericate it. We are going to Greer's Ferry in North Central Arkansas the forcast is for around 50 and sunny. Thanks in advance.

for shore fishing a pond is all i do, go with spinnerbaits and cranks along with plastic worms.

Colors:
Worms - motor oil, black, or grape.
Spinners - Chart/white or both
Cranks - Brown Craw or Tenessee Shad

make sure the lures you plan on using aren't as large as what you would normally use since the fish nearer the shore are usually smaller.

Down here in Florida you really gotta pick your spots wisely especially when fishing a retention pond due to all of the vegetation and cypress trees. Good luck to you and catch us a good one.

I would thoroughly probe any visible cover or structure. If none is visible, then I'd walk the shore and cover a lot of water to see what happens.
