That answers a lot of unanswered questions for me. Us Army guys get rifles so we don't need to get that close, or better yet a TANK, or mobile artillary

I've been in 10 years and have only been on a ship for 120 days.

Did the capt. allow fishing out the back. Recruiters are telling me so and I wanted to know more about the ship life. Love how they make everything seem so great till you get there. They were saying fishing in the mornin', Ice Cream socials from the Officers to keep morale up, the food is the best, etc. etc..
Whats are real sailors view?? Chris |

hahaha, don't trust a damn thing a recruiter tells you, unless its in writing. Some Skippers do allow fishing off the ship at times, there are some "steel beach picnics", it just depends on what ship your on and how cool the crew is.

Yeah I know about the recruiter thing! Just wanted to check it in with a real person not some advertiser/hook and baiter.
