Default Lake Fork

Was thinking this morning and said"Self ......you live 4 hrs from this lake and never went there. Whats up with this??" And self said "Find out whats the best time and GO THERE dummy" .................So here I am asking all you folks out there whats the best time to go to fork and any ideas on where to fish would be greatly appreciated. I see a trip in the near future.

Just a link I pulled up. You can change month to whatever you like. I have never been there, so can't help. We do have a guide who posts reports here about every week, Jim Reneau. Couldn't find a web site for him though, he does hasve a telephone # listed on all his reports.

I don't know Jim personally, but have talked about booking a trip with him.
I can't find the time that works with his schedule. But the link above may help some.

I grew up 2 hours from Fork and I have never fished it either. Spent my time at Cedar Creek because the grandparents lived there.

That might be a plan, Laser. Nitro and I had a blast fishing together back in September-fishing Fork sounds like a lot of fun!

I'm gonna have to hit fork sometime in the next 5 years. I had business in Dallas earlier this year and didn't get the chance, but having been out there and finding out its within 1 good days drive is enough to convince me that I gotta find out what the talk is all about.
