Default endangered bait monkey fix

Went to bass pro shop after work last night, became confused as to what to buy once there.I ended up buying 2 more Rapala DT Flat crankbaits, 2 packs of the Zoom super hog in green pumpkin and 2 packs of Gambler 3" Little Otter baits in green pumpkin.I also got some Owner hooks, Tungstun weights, starflash skirts. The thing I really took notice was gas prices as I made the 1 1/2 hour trip there. The gas prices were anywhere from $2.769 to as high as $3.049 for 87 octane ?What is it going to be when summer hits,$3.50-$4.00 a gallon ?I came to the conclision, Bass pro shop might get to be too far away for the few things I buy. Heads up buddy. Here is a little known secret for fishin them hogs. Watermelon candy is the best IMHO but you gotta get some of the regular brush hogs in what they call GOLD FISH. Dont let the name fool ya. Fish tem weightless with a 4 or 5/0 widegap hook. Yes its slow fishing but the rewards are high. Fish this lure in the nastiest cover you can find and S-L-O-W-L-Y.......Its a awsome technique.
