hey guys... im just curious, what kind of stuff do you accidentaly pull out of the water (not fish!!!) some people find some pretty cool stuff... on one forum a guy pulled in a ring, another puled in a loomis rod...
well here is my list - a booyah pond magic spinnerbait (yellow) with some prok on it - 2 sinkers and a bare hook - a tangled line with like 6 weights in it - a small jerkbait what about you guys?

um yeah, lets see, I've reeled in a big zooknstien once, manufacturer is a mystery or well kept secret, then one day on the river I drug in a lizard, once at the resovoir I snagged two baits at once, a flyrod and a rebspinner, lets see, got hooked into a jig n pig when fishing up in NY, a couple of times I got a firemans hose down in fla. , then once I got a real angry lush and a kid doc in jersey, the biggest catch was a pair of texan lures, musta been a male/female duo.. got a older lure once that had a L on the end of it, then a wisecrackin politian lure that graduated school.... but the biggest catch was a tattoo'd ol turd that I got on the ohio river (snagged meself)...the list goes on n on rofl

I've dredged up a lot of stuff over more years than I care to admit. A few lures A small Danforth anchor with a few feet of rope (snagged the rope.) A weighted bag of leftovers from someone dismantling a (poached?) deer. Two rod 'n reels, one in perfect shape (Amby 4600C on a 6'6" Shimano Compre, returned to owner after a cleaning 'cause his driver's license number was etched on the reel foot.) A camera bag with a Nikon F3 and three lenses...toooooo late...sniff. A small soft cooler bag. Lots of wads of mono...dammit! Fun stuff! FR |

I was at a fishing tourny, Three Rivers Classic, today at Point State Park in Pittsburgh (on shore fishing, 500 people.. not alot of room)...
Largest of the day was a 31in carp.... lunker was 5ft... but not a fish... this guy 50 yards down from us caught a bicycle. O the wonderful things you can find in the Monongahela River.... P.S. Oh yea, it was in pretty good shape to... he rode it around for a lil... must have been in the water for less than a week... |

if i wouldve known about that tourny i mightve gone down o well it'd be a nice fishing area if it wasnt for all the pollution from the mills in the area |

Once while casting from a dock for pike in Minnesota I hooked onto and retrieved the same daredevel spoon that went sailing on me three days previous from the same dock when my line snapped on the cast.

A snapping turtle-appx.20-25 lbs.
A big rag that had been stuck to the bottum that I lost a bait in a week before. Yes I got my older bait back. A net. A "good" spinning rod and reel. An anchor.

very cool... man would i love to putt out some of that stuff... i had the idea of using like the heaviest braid line, and then putting 5 leaders on it with lots of hooks and a big sinker, then reeling in and seeing what came up...
