Thanks. It is a canal. It has been pretty hot latley. The fish have moved to the deeper water drop offs, structure, and pads.

There are canals and lakes all over. I ride my bike to my favorite close ones. All the one's I go to by bike are within 2 miles.

It gets more interesting when I push my boat a couple of blocks on a big (5' by 3') custom made furniture dolly to one of the lakes I go to.

42 more bass and peacock today (43 including the one in my backyard)!
35 largemouth on shad rap 1 largemouth on fly 5 peacocks on shad rap 1 peacock on fly That is the most largemouth and peacock I have ever caught in one day, and I only fished for 3 hours. If my friend and I would have come earlier, we would have caught a bunch more. My biggest fish of the day at 3 pounds 2 ounces |

Crankybait, I love the cajun red cast. I still have a good spool of Pline on my other rod, but I will change it to red cast when it needs new line. It is thinner, cast farther, has less stretch, and is still really strong.
Thanks texasbasser. It was a great day! |

1 peacock on fly today
I had a nice bass on the zara spook 3+ easy. The hook pulled when he got up in some weeds in 2-3 inches of water. I dove on it, but it slipped through my hands. I got soaked and looked like a complete idiot in the process. Oh well, that's fishing... Thebassmaster123 also got a nice peacock. |

6 largemouth on senkos in the canal behind my house.
The biggest was 1 pound 14 ounces and the second biggest was 1 pound 13 ounces. I had a 3 pounder hit a swimbait, but I missed it. It spat before I could set the hook. I have had some bad luck with bigger fish lately. |
