So for the classic you can try and guess based on your own knowledge and coverage of how the fish will mostly be caught, and you can also look at who might have some local knowledge of the area (Greg Hackney), and lastly you can look at who has excelled there in the past and who hasn't. Tim Horton says it's his least favorite place to fish "not because it's a bad fishery but because I've done so badly there." So maybe not the best pick.. But sometimes you are better off just picking a name out of a hat because all these guys are amazing fisherman...and when situations change with weather and water it just takes one guy finding that mother lode that will end up winning the tournament. imo. |
