Why add that, Cmorg?
You already get your speed from GPS, and temperature sensors are pretty much worthless. They only tell you surface temp, for what that's worth. Spend it on something more useful...

Ahh , well put. Nevermind..although the temp is still a bit useful , even if it is just surface temps. Yesterday I had no clue what the temp was , and I like to have a general idea to know who slow/fast to fish..

Your SI transducer should already have a temp sensor element in it. Mine does.
