difference in materials, as dodge said. Red hooks for example are a bold, solid metalic red. Redcast is a thin line of transparent red.

hey guys, what about spiderwire? i recently bought some of that. is it any good? haven't heard anyone say anything about it. (spiderwire--super mono) thanks.

I use to fish spiderwire alot. But it was super wirey and rigid (a few years ago, don't know about the new stuff) and was highly visible, IMO. Big game or p-line
