Cought mine Thursday night 8.64 pounds. The length was at the end of a 22" golden rule so probably 22.5 inches long. I would have had it mounted but about 20 years ago I caught a 9 pounder so I am waiting on a 10#. I think the new way is to measure, weigh and release and get a replica made.

About 6 was my biggest this year. With my boat being out of commission since the middle of April, my pursuit of big bass was dramatically limited. next year will be better!

Not a Bass but I did catch a 30" Cutthroat trout that weighed in somewere in the 12-15# range. Not in a stocked pond either just killing time in the river behind my house with my Browning micro rod with 4 pound test. Amen Tall I am all about the replica let them go so you can catch them again.

This year it is the one in the avitor to the left. Probably the same place Doc,s came from. It was 8.64 but I wish it was not in the dead of the summer. It did not have a big belly like me. Next spring prespawn it would probably go 10+. Maybe lowrider, Doc and Mont Lunker can make room for me on the lake, cuz I am going to try to get a 10+ early next year.
The fish may not look that big compared to me , but I am 6'7" and 300+. |

Maybe I will see some of the arkies on here down there. I have only crappie fished Feb-April time of the year but I am going a different direction now that I have a Ranger to kill time in when I am off. Work 24 on and 48 off does leave some good fishing time.
I would take one just like yours Doc. Is their a lot of boats fishing in the cold weather trying to catch em that time of the year? Not many boats on the water when I was there in the summer. Good luck on the big ones next year Guys and Gals. |

Biggest Bass
Actually, my bggest bass was probably about 7. I don't have a picture, becuase I was bank fishin by myself, but thats what I guesstimated her at. Also caught about a 4 pound smallie and my cousin has that picture on his phone, and I'll be seein him today, so I might be able to get that up.
