Zook, I'm not suggesting what YOU should buy, I said "buy what fits your needs". And if 18' is what it is then that's it. I said I would not sink 34K in to an 18' boat - way too many better ways for ME to spend that kind of money. I bought one new Triton (TR-186
DC w/150 XR-6 for under 20K out-the-door), and I won't buy new again. Boat prices are so far out of whack that I'll let someone else take that initial depreciaton of the first year or two, and find a nice slightly used boat with motor warranty, there are a LOT of them out there, color chioce isn't worth 10K for me, as it sure don't help the boat run. It's your money, and I would not presume to suggest how you'd spend it, sorry if you took it that way. |

price be damned...
i'd sooner drown than own a triton boat period.. i put 250+ hours on a boat per year.so NEW is the only way to fly.. zooker

Yellow
When in doubt paint it yellow… I agree with all your reasons for making this your boat. Number one, it’s what you want and you thought it through making sure it fits what you have in garage and towing. The storage is off the hook and the price with a 175 and everything new – I don’t know how you can beat that package? Congrats.

In the 80's if you get the stage 3 kit put on the vmax. Only a 1k upgrade I think, and well worth it considering what the price would be on a bigger motor.

But don't add red trim. Then it becomes the Mickey D boat and everyone starts asking you where Ronald is.....

Is yama planning to expand the sho's to smaller than a 200? As far as I know they don't make a 175 sho yet. It would be good if they do.

Did you pull the trigger on buying it yet? Like to see what you think about the boat after acutally buying it. I have been thinking about that price. Also like to know what it's like doing business with the actual company. Anymore that's as important as the product. I know it seems obvous but some of these boat companies "Ranger" are a big pain after the fact. Promise the world and all I need it a title since November! My son had his Nitro title in 8 days.

If I HAD to chose one of those options, I'd take the last with the yellow trailer. I think you are on to something with those colors, but I have to change that blue to black. __________________________ Watch Furry Vengeance Online Free |
