Easiest recepie I know. (other than wrapping with foil and grilling)
Works great with butterflied trout and not too shabby with bass fillets. Simmer some cambell's new england clam chowder in a sauce pan. Season to preference. Once it simmers, pour it over your fish of choice and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

NITRO & ALL,
here is a couple takes on batter that I like. Use Aunt Jemima BUTTERMILK pancake mix, then add either 7-up or beer to make a mixture with the consistancy of mustard. Put the fillets in this mixture and place in the refrigerator for a couple hours or overnight to marinate. When the oil is hot enough to cook the fillets, salt and pepper some DRY Aunt Jemima pancake mix and drop the fillets into this to coat with the dry mix and drop in the grease. Cook until golden brown and place on paper napkins to absorb the grease. ENJOY!!! JackL

If you are new to eating fish, wait til your first time eating walleye.......whoa !!!
I'd try a simple flour, salt and pepper mix for the first time. Just my preference.... Good fishing, Mac |

I have the wife looking up some ways to cook em.
She told me we have to cook them out side so the house doesn't smell like fish. I just need to get out fishing!!!!!!!!!! I hate the winter. |
