I too only met Zooker once and it was at the Kentucky Lake get together last year. Everyone is right, he is a great guy that always has something funny to say and would do anything to help someone out. I just prayed for Zooker and will continue to do so.

I don't know what to say.....I've been away from here dealing with my own family crisis for awhile, and I return to read about Zooker and Patrick. Makes my problems suddenly seem so trivial. All I can do is pray for them both.....and I am.

I just sent you a PM bama, before I saw this. I got the answer to my question. I'm praying hard.

I only have met Zooker one time at the Kentucky Lake event. I hate that I missed the conference call last night because I did not get out of the clinic when I wanted to. So, at 6:30, as I was driving I said a prayer for Patrick, Zooker and all those who have a family member not doing well. I will continue to pray for Patrick and Zooker and the families and friends of theirs.

ALRIGHT.................i just got off the phone with ZOOKER'S mom. He is holding steady gang. Still alert and sorta coherent (morphine). I have a new way to contact him. He is still in and out of it so i will let oyu know after i call him tomorrow. His white blood count is holding steady so that is good. They say maybe april, maybe may, so whatever that mean, lol. But she said that he wanted us to know that he is STILL counting on getting outta there by fishing time, hahaha. He is still in ICU, but wants out so badly he is DETERMINNED to get out as soonas they let him. That's our ol ZOOKENSTEIN. So please keep those prayers going gang, it IS working.

It's awesome to hear he is hanging tough. Between God's love, the wonders of modern medicine, and Zooker's plain ol' orneryness, I think he's going to make it.

John, thanks for keeping up with him! God Bless you for being the caring person that you are. I'm still praying for the big guy, he and Patrick are both fighting some serious uphill battles and need all the prayers we can muster.

That's great that zooker is alert and the WBC count is holding steady. His determination to get out of there will make it happen even faster. Still praying for a full recovery for good on my end. Keep us updated as best you can, Bama.
