JB, Here you go.I really like the S model I have, have had it to catch some good fish with this fall, it cranks smooth, built for the long haul, has a massive drag system on it, casts very well, and is the smallest profile reel I have ever used so far.I can reel down and bring the fish to the boat.I foul hooked a Huge carp this summer in the side with a rattle trap.I could crank the carp to the boat even though the carp was trying to swim away from me.It was too big for my net, I ended up wearing him down by cranking him back to the boat repeatedly and then grabbed it by the tail to pull it up to retreive my trap from its side.I am very impressed with the performance of the Revo,In my opinion, it would be very difficult to find a better reel in its price range. Whoops, missed PNJ's reply. PNJ and I both have the Revo S which is $100.00. The SX is $150.00 and the STX is $200.00.

The Viento Sucks......Trust me I have one....sucks...the twitchin bar is nice....reel sucks....just wanted to throw that out there....lol....anyway, those revo's are pretty nice reels......for the price, the S is tough to beat...The higher end ones begin to compete with the new Curado and those just can't be beat IMO

For $200 I would go without thinking it too much for a Shimano Metanium XT ( Japanese version of the Chronarch 100 B but with some enhancements ), best reel you could ever buy for that kind of money.

I have several of the Shimano Curados (priced in the $200 range) and have never had any problems from them.
