another one of my favorite memories was my dad, my bro, and me went campin without my mom, which was quite odd..... but we went in our little pop up to one of the lakes .... i cant even remember which one, but off the tiny dock my bro and i caught 100s of bream and sunfish..... there were so many we stopped using bread and they would attack the golden hooks...

another thing that hooked me was i would always fish our local tournies wit my dad.... when you are 5-8 you dont have the patience to fish 8 hours.... so i would end up messin around lookind for tackle, throwing really stupid things (like a cranbait with a worm on the back treble), or just laying around ..... but in that club you won youth division with one fish most of the time (and you would get a little brass tag and if you were the highest youth at the end of the year you got a huge trophy) .... so one tournament i decided to try to catch some bream on one of the tiny jigs made for Bream ...... so i was throwing this, set the hook, and 30 seconds later lifted a 2 pounder ...... my dad was like "you should of let me net it" ..... but i was young and had no idea what 8 lb test was ....... those are the great times

p.s i won two youth titles and last year i one the AOY of the club with my dad 2nd ..... ohhh he tried to catch me but he never could make up the points
