It's been a long time since I've had bass thumb. Guess I'll have to sneak in to that private lake I used to fish. I used to use a heavy duty rubber glove to take catfish off when fishing for walleyes. Seemed to have caught more cats than walleyes at times. Always nice to be there when someone catches their first bass. Had my neice in the boat a few years ago. I casted a horny toad for her and after about a dozen hits she finally managed to hook one. Priceless.

Dont take it serious
I am just having fun - never take me serious. Never. It's just kind of funny seeing a grown man with gloves in because he is affraid of a bass bite..

John...you'll have to excuse Vegas. He's a bit stunted in the "people skills" department.
...and coming from an Engineer, that's saying something.

Finally, someone understands me. Now I gotta get back on the road. I like engineer's I think they are the easit people to trick into conversation than anyone. They all think everyone really wants to hear what they have to say..... No really they do - it's like asking an old person how they are feeling. Lots of unrealted details over and over again..... Cheers

I am actually missing the tip of one of my finger due to a bass bite.
I didnt have a good grip on him and he bit the end of my finger clean off and fell in to the water. I tried to catch him for 3 hours so i could get the end of my finger back. yes i believe vegasspider is trying to be offensive. |
