You can't have a show without drama!! There's got to be drama in order for today's audience to watch a program.....
Once again not the best they could have done. Took 18 minutes on day one to show someone catch a bass. Seriously? One third of the show and no fish?
How many times over the weekend did they show Martens swing the same fish into the boat from the helicopter. I counted at least 5.
All the little interviews going into and coming out of commercials wasted a lot of fishing time. And please someone in editing have a calculator on hand so when you add Zonas or Sanders giving the weight they'll be correct.

All done.....

I always had thought Martens to be a likeable guy, but I really think that ESPN made him look like a complete jack@ss on purpose. Seriously, there was one point when they were driving in the boat and trying to interview Martens that was completely awkward and pointless..and it made him look like he belonged on the short bus if you know what I mean.

Aaron Martens either gets really nervous or is one of those guys whose mind is working faster than his mouth can keep up. Worse, it could be both.

I came away from this Classic liking Martens a whole lot more than I did before. He also did a episode of Zona's show that was pretty good.

I really didn't think Martens came off as bad as a lot seem to. You could definitely tell he's frustrated for always bein the bridesmaid, but who wouldn't be? Personally, the next time KVDayumn doesn't win, I'm hoping it's Martens.

And yep.....HOW BOUT THAT ROOK?!?!?!! Very Impressive, although I agree with Bryce....that was no 10 pounder
