I don't see why it is funny. Yes, some amendments have taken many years, others have been passed within a couple.

I feel that if you really think the people will support you on this, go for it. I say that because I'm not worried, you would be lucky to get 15% of the population to support it. It would be less popular than SOPA.

And to pass an amendment, you need 2/3rds of the house and senate to propose one, then it gets sent to the state houses where you also need 2/3rds. You aint getting it.

If I'm on your property or public property, THEY make the rules. I follow them or stay off said property. You can check,scan and if FEMALE frisk me anytime you want.

In the old WEST, there were many towns who didn't allow guns in thier Towns. You left them with the Sherrif or went elsewhere.
I have a hunch, every single Constitutional right we have HAS been ABUSED by some human at one time or another. if not it 'COULDA'!

WTL I totally get your opinion and get where your coming from. I can see if there is an officer “dick” issue but other than that I am in favor of it. We could go on all day about it and that’s what makes this country the great one it is, we don’t need to agree and as a result we won’t get stoned to death in the middle of town square. Just goes to show adults can have a discussion of difference and not get all personal and act like two year olds. Have a good day.
