"You will often feel two distinct "tics" when fishing a jig. The first "tic" is when the fish picks up the jig......the second "tic" occurs when the fish spits out the jig. It's important, therefore, to set the hook immediately on the first "tic". Often, they occur with not much time in-between. Sensitivity and awareness are critical. Use a graphite rod and be ready at all times."
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!the only thing i have to add is USE POWER PRO BRAID WITH JIGS!!you cannot beat the sensitvity and you will feel bites you would NEVER feel with other lines. ![]()
