japanese maple
so this after noon I'm sitting by the pond and letting the lab and emma wrestle in the flower garden, I'm looking around at how lasts nights
COLD weather had knocked down everything in the yard, then realized a japanese maple tree I planted this year and have "babied" every day..was no where to be found!  Hudson our 17 wee old yellow lab chewed it up! geesh...all that was left was a 5 inch tall trunk and a bunch of chewed up sections. The maple was 5 feet tall yesterday , all purple and yellow from fall....guess I'll get a bigger one next spring and put a dog guard around it.
