1. my mps was bought on black friday, for 100 bucks, by my father as a gift as he left india. two, who said i paid 80 dollars for a textbook? i for one, despise education. but thats just a regular thing. i have a spinning mitchell silver reel, but i bu=ought it in a combo at walmart for 20 dollars... dont think its 300x, then. and i do know technique. im not that clueless, ive been researching for a while. plus, i came to most of the forums like 3 months before i stopped fishing for the year, and got ready for the next. like i said, im a self supported fisherman. my parents buy my textbooks... haha, why would i want to buy myself a torture thing?

no, my parents are study narcotics. they bought the algebra textbook so i could study it before i even studied it in school. and also, what kind of song is beerman? plus, if black friday ad rod sales, id have had to buy it. my parents dont beleive in that stuff, like i said. they say 60 sunnies is better than one bass, since its more meat, faster, cheaper, and easier

Sudy Narcotics?, for a 12 year old, you have a big vocabulary. The Faster Cheaper and Easier route will get you some fish, but resources will be limited. Maybe you should just sunny fish then?

NONE of the following is to brag:
ok, powerbass, narcotics isnt such a big word. 1. i was winner of the DARE (drug abuse resistance education) essay in 5th grade, thats how i learned it. 2, like i said, my parents are study narcotics. ive already taken the SATs and got a 1790 on the new one. thats as high as the average senior in highschool. studying increases your vocab. and besides, i skipped a grade anyways. i went to a learning center called kumon, and knew multiplication of single digits in preschool, so i skipped kindergardten. 3. my parents are indian, all they beleive in is studying. if i even walk into my dads room, he yellsa t me for not studying. plus, language arts is my best subject anyways. i got a 97 on the first marking period (and its high reading, 2 years ahead of me). plus im turning 13 in exactly 8 days. so are you happy? still dont beleive me? want me to scan my book? or my report card? or a few pics of me? done with the inntelectual act. now, sunny fishing? ive done that for 4 years, its gettting too boring. i want to have a challenge. sunny fishing, you dip anything on a hook into water for 3 seconds, then pull up and youve got a fish. no, even if i suck at bass fishing, only practice will make me better. i personnaly dont care about the cost, my mom does |

Crankybait, looks like you are having a hard time deciding on what to do. If I were you I would use one of the spinning reels you have and get a new spinning rod because you said you were having trouble feeling bass biting. I would wait until Feb. when Wal-Mart puts their rods on sale and get a new 6'6" medium heavy action rod (good action and size for all lures) in the 40-60$ range. Good luck
