Just $55 in the first trip. Probably going to head to my LBS this weekend to pick up some more stuff.
I just got some line, some senkos, a couple of spin baits, teminal tackle, and i picked up a $13 mitchell rod reel combo. I still need a tackle box, some more worms and some crank baits. |

Get a tackle bag and storage boxes. I have this bag and 7 of these boxes I have plenty of room for most of my stuff. I'll never go back to boxes. And one spinnerbait box (no this one) I'll post my stuff in a min.

thats a nice setup there Bassboss. I found a nice box to start with at walmart today Plano 727 to start filling up. Stopped by my LBS and picked up 2 more colors of senkos, some beads for Carolina rigging, and some more hooks. Like $180 in the last three days. Not a bad haul, should keep the monkey off my back for a day or two .

This is my tackle box.
After spending money on hard sides and soft sides only to have them break, I decided to turn to something that is cheap, easy to get into and that I can fit in my boat's tackle hatch and remove at a moments notice. I fit 4 plano boxes and one purse like thing with my favorite plastics in it and that goes in the front deck where access is easiest. Spare tackle that I am less likely to use is placed under the deck where I can get to it when I desperate to get outside the box. As for lures, if you are a newbie I recomend concentrating, not disapating to quote general Allenby in Lawrence of Arabia. Learn about 3 lures real well. Then branch out. But thats me.
