OK, talked to the man hisself. He was cracking jokes about hisself, so i know he is STILL in great spirits. He said that he was wandering through the halls cuz he was on so many drugs ya know. Next thing he remembered was waking up STRAPPED in his bed. He was seeing things, lmao, things like his boat and fishing stuff everywhere and he was telling folks that it should be at his house or something i think is right. HAHAHA. Anyway, his white blood cells are gonna rise he said, he may be in the hospital for another 6 weeks or so and might not be able to fish this year, but he was going to beat this thang. His pick line was infected and they took it out and put in a new one, that is what he thinks caused his body infection. Makes sense to me. Sometimes they (nurses, doctors) fiddle with it so much that they contaminate those things and don't see it, ya know? Has a cathader (spelling?) too, but he is ok gang. He didn't fade out on me this time. Said he wasn't licked yet and wasn't gonna be. His mom said he lost another 20 or so and now weighs a whopping 260# instead of the normal over 300 plus. So we will see a slimmer Zooker once he gets out. He thanks each and everyone of us here for the thoughts and prayers. Said to tell everyone HI, and to post lots of pics for him so he can see em when he gets home. He still can't get to a computer yet, but he will he said. He said he is SOOO @#$% tired of the tubes and wires all over him he is about to puke, hahahaha. So he is getting better now, as soon as his white count goes up, his body can fight the infections by itself.
I personally wwant to thank you guys for the well wishes and cards and prayers for ZOOKER AND PATRICK. We need an address from patrick so we can send him some cards and letters. This helps these guys out folks. So again i ask oyu to do it everyday if at all possible. Zookers mom thans everyone as well. This is a very strong woman, and i can't wait to meet her.

Twice in one day I get to comment on how well Zooker is doing. Must mean he is doing really well.
Tell him from us, that we miss him on the forums and are looking forward to having him back in 6 weeks. Hopefully his recovery will be quicker than the docs hope and he'll get to fish a little this year.

I spoke to zook for a little bit tonight. He seemed a bit tired so I didn't keep him on the phone long. He dropped it twice, I was thinkin' he really didn't want to talk to nobody. hehehe... He's getting better, just tired and greatful to be out of ICU.
