4 for 4

The Patriots gave up a few runs to Tomlinson, but otherwise shut him down. That forced the Charger's newbie quarterback to fire downfield, and the secondary seemed to do well from what I heard. Even though the Pat's offense didn't do so hot, the defense really stepped it up.

Predictions again:

Patriots vs. Colts
These two teams met earlier in the year in Foxboro, with the Colts winning by a touchdown. I was surprised the Pats didn't run very much, but expect them to mix running and passing in this game. The Pats have a great run defense but mediocre pass defense, so Peyton Manning will certainly look to gun down to open receivers. Even though the Colts are at home, Tom Brady is undefeated in domes. Whoever controls the football better will win.
Patriots 27, Colts 24

Saints vs. Bears
Saints have a good offense, Bears have a good defense. My prediction is simply that Drew Brees will throw for a million yards and help the Saints win the game.

Sorry for the late reply guy's. Been out of town. For all those OSU fans, I didn't see a lot of further talk from them. For all the GATOR fans. GO GATORS GO. Dual Champions, first school to hold that title. May I add they did it in a very dominating fashion. For all the news channels, sports announcer's, newspapers, etc. that said the Gators didn't belong there. I now drop my pant's so they can kiss my GATOR A$$.

Should be two really good games today...

As a Pats fan, I have to make their case. The Colts are a really good team with a great offense, but I think the Pats can still pull it off.

1. The one type of defense Manning has trouble against: a 3-4 that pressures the QB. That's exactly what the Pats usually play.

2. The Pats have a great running game, and in order to stop it Indy will need its run defense on. However, if it stuffs too many people into the box, expect Brady to sling some to the sidelines or, if open, downfield.

3. The Colts are undefeated at home this year and are in a dome.
Fact: The Pats have lost only one road game this year
Fact: The Chargers were also unbeaten at home
Fact: Brady is 10-0 in domes

4. The Colts need to set up play action or else they are screwed. If their running game gets shut down, they are done for. Peyton will have many DBs coming at him and will need to make quick decisions, and he's been known to throw interceptions in pressure before.

Nevertheless, should be a very close and good game. If the Colts do win this game and advance to the Superbowl, then congratulations to them, they earned it.

As a dolphins fan, today I pull for the colts and the bears. However, If the saints win, I will support them in the super bowl. You have some very valid points here, but this should be a close game that could go either way.

I saw 'em. Bad I say!!!

As a key witness, I say that the pats should have won, and would have if not for 2 things(besides refs):
1 Home Field Advantage
If they were on their turf, they coulda done it!
2 A. Vinaeteri, D. Branch
No doubt in my mind, if they had these 2 players they would have won.

Congrats to the Colts, especially Peyton. He deserves it.

Coulda Woulda Shoulda , bad calls , blablablabla. Is it not possible that the colts finally have the pats number ? last three match ups went to the colts , bad calls in all three games ? The Patriots clearly couldnt stop the short passes the Colts were throwing. They were simply outplayed and Bill Belichecks tricks didnt work well this time , thats it. GO COLTS!!!!

Colts dominated them, except on the special teams. Reminded me of the Ohio St VS Florida game. Man that was great to watch. Go COLTS!!!!!! And I'm glad the Bears made it to the superbowl. I will say I was disappointed in the way they played, but the Colts had a little to do with that.

Congratulations to the Colts. They had a lot of close games this year and won big when it counted the most, and the whole team came together at the end.

However, Dominic Rhodes deserved the MVP of that game, I must say.

Next season should be an interesting one. I don't think the Patriots and Colts play during the regular season, but chances are they'll see each other in the post-season again.

Hopefully during the off-season the Pats can get some wide receivers... Brady is a great quarterback when he actually has receivers who can get open and hold on to the ball.
