About the only one I would like to see if Kim Stricker's Hook and Look. I don't watch much tv at all so I will have to go out of my way to see that one. I'd like to see his underwater footage. A lot of the other ones I have seen are just like long commercials.

I don't watch too many shows on the TV. I usually can find just about any tip or topic on-line.

I've stopped watching fishing shows. Just watching some guy reel in fish is a waste of time.

There are a few good ones out there. The Bass Pros is really good and so is Bass Pro Fishing can be good. I tell you I think I have learned more from the Videos on the main site here though they are awesome.

I've watched way too many boring fishing shows. Talk is really cheap when they're fishing a private stocked pond, or have a fish put on their hook so you can see them land it.
The only two fishing shows I watch and actually learn something from is Bass Pros and Lindner's Angling Edge. Just recorded buy haven't seen Hook & Look, but have heard only good things about.

Yep, it's really a shame there are so many sub-par fishing shows out there. Gives the better ones (The Bass Pros, Lindners, etc) a bad name. It would also be nice if there were a channel devoted entirely to fishing. Seems like the so-called "Outdoor" channels are 90% hunting year-round.

I watched Bill Dances new Saltwater show 2 weeks in a row. They don't peddal that much product. There are no stocked ponds in the Ocean. It's also a Hoot to watch a freshwater guy go after Goliath Grouper. I wish he would run the freshwater program in the same way.

Are you referring to City Limits? That's also a excellent show. Not your typical fishing show for sure.

Official a$$ kiss post.... I find that most TV shows only show and promote the sponsor that pays the bills. They cast, reel in a fish and brag about product X. They never show or explain, techniques, set up's, the why?, what? and where? they are doing all of the above. That's why.........here it comes, I prefer the production videos, instructional shorts and the maximum exposure offered on BASSFISHIN.COM. They have entertained and taught me above and beyond any source in public use. End of a$$ kissing. I keep them on at work, usually as background noise. I look up every now and then to see what they are catching, mostly to see where they are at and make a mental note of someplace I would like to fish in the future.

at this point of the year, I will watch Dora the Explorer catch purple fish with pink polka-dots!!! I have watched Ike on the City Limits show, I appreciate watching him learn a new body of water and listen to him explain how they are changing patterns, lures, retrieval speeds, ect to find a pattern that works. It sure beats watching Bill Dance sit on his a$$ and catch fish in private stocked ponds for sure!!....or Roland Martins inf0-mercials

redbull..da hoser is kising kevin's rear, lmao. and i kinda agree with him on the fact that the shows nowadays don't truly explain everything he stated. that is why i hardly EVER watch a fishing show. i have learned MUCH more from kevin videos than what espen shows. i DO learna little though. but one has to read between the lines if you know wht i mean.

I like A Day at the Lake, they put a pro on a lake he has never fished and he gives the lowdown on how he is approaching the lake. the number of casts they throw makes my shoulders ache...

I will throw my 2 cents in. The Bass Pros seems to be the most educational show out there. I like watching any show that I can learn from. Not all of them teach stuff. Most are infomericals and I understand the sponsors want their products promoted, but I don't have the time to waste for an infomerical.
