Default New Boat Offshore Today!!!

Guys here is the short report copied from another site even though it probably means nothing to y'all

Cleared the mouth around 10:30 and headed towards Pelican Flats. Talked to "Capt.JesseJames" on the radio for a minute. Lines in around 65 feet. First line off was a Dolphin on a dolphin colored chugger skirted ballyhoo.

During this fight we got a double hook-up on a manns stretch 30 in blue and white while clearing lines for the 'phin. But got eaten by a 'cuda about 20 feet from the boat.

Get two 'cudas.
Then got this nice 15lb. King in about 105 feet of water just on the East side of Pelican Flats.

Decide to turn around and head east again.
The starboard rigger goes off and Dad is on it again. This fish gets about 2/3 of the spool out before it finally slows. Dad gets it to about 100 yards to the boat when he spits the hook :cryin:. This is while we see something playing with the shotgun line. As we are reseting the lines we see something again on the shotgun, probably weeds. But then we think there might be a fish so we had it off to my 9 y.o brother and het gets his first Dolphin.

We then had "Fire Dawg" in his new pretty boat come by and give us a hello
Only 2 'hoos left so we troll with those two. When the starboard rigger goes and we hand it off to my 6 y.o. brother and he reels in this. . .
8lb. King

Back to the Port around 4:00 to 4:30.

No the Dolphin on the top was out for about 5 minutes but not put on Ice, but yes they do lose lots of color right away.

When I was 9, I caught a small cuda on a handfline fishing off a boat dock in the Cayman Islands. THat6 was quite a fight.
