Ya, if you can find a spot that no ones fished before, that 'ud be great!

i just recently discovered that i can get to the head of my fave. pond by canoe or a dirt road. i always use the canoe to get back into holes you cant see from the road, and i hung a big one today i couldnt get to the boat
but if you can walk around, spread some bushes, and find you a good spot, i recomend it, fish probally hide around there to not get caught... till you break that barrier.

The less that people get to the spots the better . Also I love to pitch a worm or jig in between trees along the shore line , just look for the places that you would normally walk by and try to find an opening that you could sneak a cast through .

I've fished from a boat once. All of my fishing has been done from the shore, all 12 years of it. I primarily start off with a topwater such as buzzbaits or a popper, then I move to a spinnerbait (booyah pond magic works best on a spinning rod with light line, I saw you said something about those earlier). Past that I use an 8-10 inch culprit finesse worm and usually that works well for me. Hope it helps!

I just started using senkos within the past few weeks, they are quickly becoming my new confidence bait - I pulled 13 from the water in a small pond this morning (most were small). In the evening I hit my old dive and came out with four between 2-4 lbs. The bass are taking them on the fall and as I get close to shore - I see multiples fighting for it - go junebug!
