Wink Just New to Everything

Hi All!

Finding Bassfishin.com was a stroke of luck. The way it is set up as an information and communication tool plus a social networking web site for fish people is totally awesome!! Until now I strictly used Bassresource.com but now I have TWO fabulous sites to choose from.

Just started fishin last year (cheaper than golf but just as addicting). I'm an old bird so I delight in asking for and getting good, sound direction and advice on learning this sport.

No questions today. Just wanted to say "Hey"

Welcome! And thanks for filling out your location, lots of new people don't and when they talk about things nobody know where they are. Toledo has some good water nearby and a couple members on here live there and I'm just an hour north, but I'll always be a Buckeye.

spelling nazi's!?! I better stop typing so fast. (by the way JB, it's 'more funner')

Welcome to the Nut-House man. Once I found this site, I hardly ever go back to any of my old bass forums. Where in Toledo are you and where do ya fish?

Welcome. I'm kind of new here myself. Like you I took up fishing after constantly being frustrated trying to play golf. I thought it would be a lot cheaper and easier. Started off in the salt as I'm from LI, but got hooked on freshwater several years ago. My golfing days doesn't come close to what I spend on fishing. Custom made clubs would be a drop in the bucket.

BTW, I'm not exactly young either @ 62.
