Take a look at the Net Craft lure bodies, they have a nice variety in several colors and are well made. You will have to add hooks, but even with that they are still cheap.

Never thought of that, I checked 'em out and the shallow divers looks great, almost the same design as lucky craft! With split rings and mustad triple grips the total comes to about 3.50 per crankbait for 12 crankbaits. Not only that but I have one extra hook!

H20 really are good baits if you can get a supplier. Very similar in every respect to the japaneese baits, including hook quality. Good price as well.

I'll put my vote in for Bandit 100 series too. Mann's baby 1-, Bomber Sqaure A, Strike King Series 1, all good baits that you can get for less than 5 dollars.

I agree, H2Os are great quality made baits for the price.

I like the store brands (like the local BPS) as long as they look and feel similar to the name brands... mostly because most of them are made by the exact same companies, just put in a different box. I have caught just as many on the BPS lipless crank than I have the Rapala lipless crank that looks almost the same, but were around $2-5 cheaper for the BPS brand.
