Reel Return Tip

Ever have a reel brake and they won't take it back w/o a receipt. I personally save all my receipts, especailly for fishing stuff (and any electronic device), but finding them is always the hard part. If you're super organized, and have like separate file folder for everything, it's not a problem. but I'm not. Most of my receipts get thrown on a shelf in my room.

But recently, I've started putting the receipts for any reels I buy in the box the reel came in. All my reel boxes are stacked up in my fishing cabinet. So a reel brakes, all I have to do is get the box, and the receipt is in it.

Just though I'd share.

yeah my shakespere broke. i wonder if i can take it to walmart and get the $$ on a card, since i dont the the recipt.

my wife keeps the receipts for everything, and i mean everything. we have to boxes, one is for receipts for fishing stuff and the other is for receipts on anything else. we have to go through them every once in a while and throw away the ones we no longer need. last time we went through them we found a receipt for a bag of powerworms i bought right after we got married, like i said she keeps receipts for everything haha.

i put the reciept in the empty reel box and add it to my stack.. and i have a STACK too..

I scan mine into the computer. Since I have to track so many business based expenses I am always having to keep track of receipts.
