Default polarized sunglasses

JB, and myself were at work talking about what would be a good pair of polarized sunglass to get.I'm really just talking about the color of the lens.Like say it's cloudy out what color lens should you be wearing or vice versa on a sunny day.Do they make a lens that's all around good for cloudy and sunny days.JB and myself are going to Bass Pro Sunday and I was gonna get a pair of there Bassmaster sunglasses. They were $29.99 and they will be on sale for $19.99.So I was wondering what color.I know these arent the best but I'm already spending a big chunk of my money on
a Ambassadeur C3 reel/bionicblade xps rod so there $129.00 already a BassPro Extreme tackle bag and spinnerbaits, plastics and others so.I'm up to $197.00.I was shocked I told my wife How much everything was gonna cost and she said okay...didn't blink an eye,I was like sssswwweeeeettttt! .But I know I will spend more than that.sale.sale.sale.sale

Denny, What type of fishing do you do. An example,On bright sunny days, I flip jigs in weeds, I need the darkest colored gray lense I can find.It cuts the water surface glare and allows me to see the weeds and contrast between objects on the lake bottom. When its cloudy or overcast, I don't look to jig fish in the weeds, because the bass are shallow and they are scattered suspended up in the water colum from where they normally are when its sunny out.Cloudy overcast days, I fish spinerbaits, senko's, topwaterbaits, crankbaits, so I don't even need sunglasses at all to fish bird dog baits.I hope this helps, P N J

Good call, Denny. Gray(smoke) for sunny days, amber for cloudy. You can also get some with interchangable lenses that you can switch but I find having two pair is easiest.

Gray lenses for clear water, brown lenses for murky water.

I usually fish with amber lenses in all conditions and it works very well...all except for the exceptionally bright days we have here in Kentucky.

As for tackle bags, http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catal...rTarget=browse

that bad little boy is gonna be at my house tomorrow or Thursday.

Real good subject. Has anyone ever thought about the fact that your high end optics say binoculars are ruby coated therefore having a rose to red apperance. I did and bought a pair for fishing. Yes they where more than I wanted topay. At the time they where 129 I think. Been 10 or so years since I bought them and ifn I remember corrrectly they where hobies or maui jims. Great for those real sunny days when you cant see chit cause of the glair. They work Very well for me.

Same here JB, they work for all conditions pretty well. With all the tackle I buy, can't afford 5 different pairs of Polarized Subsciption glasses. LOL

For you folks buying a tackle bag and putting your sunglasses in them I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND you get a hard case for your glasses. If not, you will be replacing them sometime, maybe sooner rather than later.

You might consider Solar Bats. They are sold at (you guessed it) Wal-Mart and they aren't that expensive, but what does a new set of eyes cost? Be sure you get the 100% UV protection.
