I am going to get stuff for the house. I have enough fishing stuff for now. At least that is what the wife said. Sigh.

i agree that we all could use a little breathing room when it comes to money, things are getting tight on everyone. i honestly don't know what i want for christmas, i am lucky enough that my wife doesn't complain when i buy fishing stuff whenever i need it and however much i need (within reason). so i told her that gift cards to bass pro are always a safe bet, and i wrote down my favorite crankbait models and sizes as well as color # 's.

C-Rig, I get BPS gift cards every year, but this year I'm going to save them until I have extra cash to get me a new trolling motor--at least that is the plan. But the bait monkey has a way of making me change my mind, this year I'm going to fight him, toe to toe, I'm going to WIN LOL

I'm trying to not spend any money and save up for the Stren Potomac River tournament next summer. Might try it on the Pro side and see how I do. Got a bunch of smaller series tx's on the river and lake to fish too.
Also I'm working on stocking up the retail so fun money will be tight. Might have to put off buying that custom 09 Challenger R/T 6 speed with the 390+ HP |

CHRISTmas whish list!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well to be honest the first thing is I just haft to be thankful what all I do have, provided by CHRIST the LORD as my FATHER and by the men and women present and past that have fought and gave their lives, and those that still and those that will to come that fight for OUR freedom and free religion. What a great Country I have been blessed to have been borned in, and the the great outdoors that GOD our creator has blessed us with to enjoy. Now the small things, Jigs and learn how to use them. I guess no patience or the right time or place. Back in the 80's I tried but had to stay with spiders (large single bladed spinner baits), and gitzets seem like for the bass I would land. I have up graded in poles some what, but I now see how a very good graphite pole with florocarbon can really improve the feel as well a tungston weights on c-rig and t-rigs. Maybe if the overtime is not cut out next year (the money I get to do my fishing, hunting, and golfing on) I think I would like a G loomus rod-well get my buddy that has retired from the FD that started making rods this year and make me a I think he said a CST rod from new Zealand that a lot of rod builders are really liking (according to their forums) with titanium and ceramic guides that are very light and will not wear with breaded line. He said he had just made three up and I need to come by and feel how light and sensitive they were. He said you could drag it across a plastic fender on his 4 wheeler with the lightest of touch and you could feel it up the rod. I told him no cuzz I know the bait monkey sure enough will way heavy on the shoulder till I am able to get one, so I have resisted so far. A rod light as that and one of those really light weight reels some of the guys are using at the FD on their g-loomus rods. Feels like a feather in you hands and I can see how you can throw a rod like that all day and not get fatigue to set in. Man I wish we had spell check!!!!!!!! I bet you toooooo after reading this if you have hung with it this far. Santa is bringing a lowrance Ihunt hand held GPS. He has already put his hot spot map chip in it out of his Lowrance 522 c IGPS on his boat and man it's nice. Santa set here the other night and flagged over a 100 spots on lake Ouachita to go look at and fish. Humps that come up to say 10-40 fee in real deep water that you would never know was there. May be a tree top or some one placed a brush pile on some of them etc. to check out. I have done found some on Lake Degray doing this. I am learning, but I have a long ways to go. I would have never found them with out a hot spot map or looking and playing with my GPS with the chip in it. Time and money to just go and enjoy the great outdoors. I am worried about the $$$$$$ right now as I am sure many are. That may be the biggest thing and most important wish of all next year if the USA ship does not stop sinking. Lets not forget health, for everyone in the family and the FISH TO BITE. Merry CHRISTMAS to all

Not much on my list. I need a few more Norman DD22 lures. Replace my soft plastic supples. New braid for 3 setups. Add one more reservoir boat to round out my fleet of 3.
