Default Carolina Chips

A couple of members have referenced Carolina Chip's crankbaits. I went and looked at his site. Some pretty cool stuff.

Anyway, I was thinking of purchasing some custom rogues. Does anyone know if the custom rogues are suspending? Most importantly, does anyone have any suggestions for lure colors?

I bet they are suspending, my first all around choice of a rogue is the black back, silver sides, orange belly...

Depends on the water clearity on what rogue to choose..I've stated in the past about a see through teal that they coat some black n silver rogues.
I like the clown, but its not my fav... They used to make a crappie colored tan and green, thats my fav. around here..I got both sizes ..and also the old clown color for the rouges used to be a white base with red and blue and yellow painted rogue, they dont sell that one anymore, after that 96 bassmaster tourney at Ky lake, the silver/yellow clown with a red nose became a hit.

He can make anything you want for a price LOL. What's your best color now? Have him make that for you. I prefer Silver with a Black back, or Clown color myself.

Here is a set of plugs Chip made for me.
It is a Smallmouth pattern on top.
And the one in the middle is a Rouge.

Chips lures are a work of art. And he is a very very decent guy to work with. He will make sure your 100% happy before he starts your order.

That Smallmouth pattern is an awesome pattern.
What do you think of it?

Lokust,

That pattern is very cool. You probably shouldn't have posted it, the Monkey is beating me to death right now LOL.

That smallmouth pattern looks impressive. Baitmonkey is taking control of me . . . I must push him off my shoulder until I get paid on Thursday. Then, I will feed the monkey some Carolina Chips (perhaps smallmouth pattern).
