Default Need help with a yum buzz frog?

Ok I picked up a pack of yum buzz frogs to fish the galena river up in michigan. Forgive me but I dont know the exact terms but the hook was a 2/0 zoom hook with the cork screw for the head of the frog. The problem I was having was it was spinning in the water, I could not get it to stay belly down. I would cast, let sit, bring in a little and let set, does anyone have a clue what I was doing wrong?

Make sure the hook is perfectly straight in the bait-if not it may cause it to spin. I also think a 2/0 hook may be a little small-I use a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook.

Upgrade the hook size, also as Reb stated, make sure the hook is aligned. Also, I rig my frogs so their is a slight bend in the body. This keeps the head tilted upwards slightly, causes a little more action when running across the top.
