Higest speed baitcasters for under $100.00
I have always been a spinning reel guy, but would like to try a good-FAST- baitcaster. I have seen 7:1 ratio baitcasters, but they were $200. and more.
Any suggestions? Thanks! |

those new extremes look great! i want one now! i have the regular extreme, and its really good. i like it alot. you can get those on sale for $50 right now,so you could get 2 new reels instead of 1 $100 reel.

Well, if you can afford to go there there's this old buddhist monk living in a cave on the upper slopes of Mount Everest. He's opened a small tackle shop
(so he can meet new friends). Rumor has it that he's got the only 12 examples of the discontinued Shimadaiwabassadeur Super Screamer reel, which has a retrieve ratio of 15:1, ever built before the inventor, Cletus "Denny" Franchione, went totally insane and had to be committed to the Smileview Home For The Hopelessly Bewildered. These rare jewels can be yours for a piddling $5,345.00 (US), and come in a lovely bag made of Yeti hide. The use of braid is NOT recommended since at that speed braided line may cause friction sufficient to ignite a blaze. Really! FR |

Anybody with an "Extreme" corpse laying around...?
While I took my Extreme reel out for the 1st time --I've been practicing in my yard for 2 weeks now, I was very happy with and still am, but my problem while battling a 3.4 lb'er this morning the side plate came off and--you guessed it!-- in the water.
I also have a '06 Johnny Morris I got off eBay--I'm pretty happy with it also, but I think reels shouldn't be made that are so attractive you're afraid to use 'em...........? What's the chance someone here may have one laying around? BTW, yes, it was cold as hell today--east central Illinois Quote:
