Now you know that joining a bass fishing forum and seeking pike fishing information is not going to get you the most desirable results ? You knew that right ?

I hate pike and pickerel and Muskys.Especially with the higher cost of bass lures. My all time toothy critter killers would be

1. inline spinners- Mepps musky killer in gold blade/black bucktail. for pickerel A chartruese colored bucktail works a bit better.

2. Strike King Spences scout.Thats why I was trying to give the lure to Gary 3000. I shouldn't laugh because with a black gold scout won $800 and some change for me quite a few years ago at the annual pickerel roundup tournament.

3.They love lures being hopped on the bottom or hopped on the retreive.

4. white bladed spinnerbaits.Often I will catch a mixed bag of smallmouths and toothy critters from the same areas on a white bladed bait. Don't get me wrong you will catch them on every color but the whites get you real good unwanted results when your in a bass tournament.

5. Top water. Bass pro shops slim dog is a killer lure, but prop baits and spooks work well too.I use the cheaper slim dogs where there are alot of known toothy fish and my sammy, gunfish lures in the lower toothy fish populated lakes.

Hey. I visit Lake Winnebago at least once a year. I haven't caught pike though. I just catch bass. I was only on the shore, so I can only tell you what I used. I caught them on crankbaits. I hate pike and musky too.

I love to fish for bass too. I'm fairly new(2 years) to bass fishing so i thought joining on here could help me out. Its just that my closest fishing source mainly has pike and that's it; so i got pretty good at catching them. On winnebago i would just be happy to catch some fish. The type isnt so important to me.
