Some photos I took on the lake today.
I had the day off and headed out to my favorite lake, what a perfect day! Perfect overcast, air temp. 72, water surface temp 60, and the fish were biting! I didn't bass fish today, I mainly focused on the crappie. The crappie bite has been so good the last week or so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for some more tastiness. I ended landing 24 keeping crappie and 3 bass(while fishing for crappie). Here's the photos......
My crappie hole....

Nice piece of water there. Glad you had fun, and caught dinner. I keep waiting on having a low pressure day on the lake. Seems like forever since that's happened.

Man that sure is a nice piece of water. I see a incredible amount of potential there. I especially like the floating mats in the 1st and 2nd pic. Lots of wood...some riprap...some rock=BIG fish!!! Seems lik you have some nice water and a nice cabin....need a roommate(j/k).

Must be nice to not have wind blowing strong enough to blow the hair off a dog. We have 15-25+ MPH wind constantly during spring down here. I am getting better at fishing in whitecaps, though. You have a great looking place to fish!

Thanks for the compliments. This lake is truly amazing, it's spring fed and it has just about every type of cover and structure you could ever want. 5-7 pound bass are common and it's share of 10+ as well. My favorite thing to do on this lake is fish a jig in the abundance of trees and stumps that are right out in the middle, I'll get right up on the deep trees and drop the jig straight down and fish it vertically, the bass can't stand it! I'll be heading out there again this Sunday with my girlfriend and put her on some fish, she hates fishing but she loves when she actually catches a few, it's also a way for me to spend some time with her while I'm doing what I was gonna do anyway, so it's a win win situation.
