Happy spring my... We had freezing rain and snow this morning and the temperature is going to be a balmy 41. Winter was warmer. The weather can't get much worse than this. Well, it can get worse but I sure don't want it to.

I hope you have a great spring and catch lots of fish!

First day of spring and what do we get?? 3 inches of snow with more to come! High temps this week will be in the upper 30's, snow is still falling and blowing! Hopefully the warmth in the ground will melt it quickly. I'm starting to feel like Jack Nicholson in The Shining!

I'm looking out back and seeing some open water! But there's still some good blocks of ice out there, and open water season doesn't begin until April 1st.

Nevertheless, it's time to get ready. Today is 40 degrees and sunny, so the ice is only getting thinner!
