Default boat color opinions

been playing on the phoenix site..
i figure that if i am planning on droping $34k on a new boat might just as well get the "perfect" color that suits my personal taste.

just because i'm a tad flamboyant and LOATH a red boat.i choose these colors.the bottom of the hull WILL be yellow gel.
btw the colors are:
burnt gold, yellow, eletric purple, black gold pins, blue trailer/silver pins, yellow trailer/black pins.the seats and carpet color are almost picked.ash carpet and either light grey/blue or light grey/yellow seats..

my question is which combo reall strikes ya as the most poppin?

yellow gel inside, burnt gold bow wings..

burnt gold inside,purple bow wings

and just fer giggles. the above color combo on a yeller trailer..

i can hear my boat salesman screaming now"a WHAT colored boat?? your insane!!"

They all look good. I actually like the last one with the yellow trailer. Now all you need is a yellow Avalanche to pull it around....

Sounds like a great boat.

My question is why you would want to ruin it with a paint job like that?

Pick something that will go with the awesome motor hangin' off the back.

Flat red looks bad. With the glittler I think it looks a little better. As an accent color I think it looks ok.

Its your boat zook, looks alright to me. There is a aesthetic quality to gaudy.

If I were ever to do that, and not get it in some OD/camo pattern (which yall know well that I favor) - I might get some royal looking colors like navy/gold or something of the sort. I'm not sure it would look as good in glass, but I am definitely going with a like scheme when I get a car.

For practical reasons, I like the second one. Burnt inside instead of yellow, less light reflection under your sunglasses.

If I HAD to chose one of those options, I'd take the last with the yellow trailer. I think you are on to something with those colors, but I have to change that blue to black.

Dude a while back when you and I were talking on the phone you were telling me some of the off the wall color schemes you were wanting on a boat. I just thought it was the meds and you would come to your senses soon enough, guess I was wrong lol. But if you are interested in a boat that stands out from other boats on the lake I say mission accomplished!

I vote for the one with the yellow trailer.

Zook, I'm color blind and they look all the same to me. I'd look good in any one of them lol I do like the yellow trailer. At least I can tell it's different than the first two. What made you decide Phoenix?

climbed into a 18 footer-the size i want.. there is as much storage on the 18 footer as most 20 footers have.the boat has some of the most inivative, angler friendly features i have ever seen..fit and finish is second to none..comes standard with a long list of features, most are opinions on other boats in that class..

Heck, Zooker....I was checking out their website...their list of features is indeed awesome. Man, if they were only made out of aluminum.

If I was going to drop $34K on a boat it sure wouldn't be an 18 footer. There are several '09 Phoenix (which is a fantastic boat) 21 footer's for sale under 39K, w/225 or 250HP and 3 year warranty remaining on motor. Buy what fits your needs, but at that kind of money - I'd want considerably more boat. A year (or two) old, lightly run boat with warranty remaining on the motor would be where I was looking. By-the-way, I also like yellow - but matched with white. Grey carpet and yellow/white seats. Good choice on the Phoenix, if I was in the market I would be looking hard at one myself.

ok boogie #1 i want a NEW boat of my color choice.$34k is right now an out the door price on the 18 footer with an 175 vmax yammer. i was told add $4k for the sho when yammer starts making them in next year or so..
the reason i am going with the 18 footer is my storage and towing opions.i could not get a 21 footer in my garge-there is this massive oak tree in the way-and i'll tow it with a ford ranger with a 3.0l v-6..the truck will be paid for -allowing me to buy the boat-

nofear
screw tin for an bass boat. the only tin boat that i was really liking was the excell boat. then they changed the boat hull. they went from a modified v hull to a mud boat hull..ever ride in a mud boat?? i have they are great in flat water. but put a touch of chop on it and it'll beat you silly and they will take on water REAL easy..

I tend to agree about the 18foot zook, I am downsizing from a 20' hopefully this year.. I have found that 18 is the magic number for getting into those super shallow hard to find places, easier to store in my garage and a lot less stress on the truck when towing (especially when you travel as far as I do). For me, I just feel a lot more comfortable with an 18...btw, the one with the yellow trailer gets my vote

An 18' bug boat!!!! Sweet . I'd double check that price tag. Saw an 18 with a 150 Merc at the show last year for $26K. You must be putting in A/C, a frig, a stocked bar, etc to get it to $34K. Or you're paying way too much for that extra 25hp.

Hahaha, just thought of this gang. We all know how ol zook hates nanners........so why is he wanting a nanner color rig? Might jsut be a inx pal.

For real zooker, i still say the top color combo with a yeller trailer.

This is the 618 pro isn't it?

The first picture looks good. I think the trailer goes with the color pattern better here.

Also have you looked at the BeeLine series??? Those are some fast fast boats.
