Default Mattern Guide Service on Lake Fairfield

Mattern Guide Service on Lake Fairfield
Hello Everybody,

PSALM 63; Verses 1-4

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee; my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.

To see thy power and thy Glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Lake Fairfield is alive and well. Clients enjoyed a catch of over 40 Bass today. Most were 2 lbers but about 5 were in the 4 lb. range which made for some really great action. Bass were hitting carolina rigged flukes in Chartruse Pepper as well as a 11.84 lb. Redfish.

Thats right a Redfish almost 12 lbs. on a carolina rigged fluke, what a fight.

You don\\\'t catch the redfish every trip but they are caught when you lest expect it while Bass fishing.

Bass are moving up to the banks right now and hitting Texas rigged creature baits in Watermelon colors. Most were Buck Bass but they are definately comming in to prepare for the upcomming spawn. I have several trips this week on Lake Fairfield and Sam Rayburn but you can go to my new Website at matternguideservice.fghp.com and get my rates. People are already booking their trips to Lake Palestine,Sam Rayburn, & Lake Fairfield so be sure and get your bookings in ahead of time.

Water temps were in the mid 60\\\'s on most of the Lake with the warm water dis-charge running from low 70\\\'s to high 70\\\'s.

Bass will hit topwaters at time, crankbaits in shad patterns, and most palstic baits.

Well be blessed in the Name of Jesus my King and great fishing. Remeber my great sponsors:
