Banjo Minnow
If things like this are so all fire great, then why can't I just go pick up a three pack like I can with my Creme worms? Why not in a little pouch like flukes? I don't get why they have to be in these huge pricey kits? I have never been taken in on one of these kits, therefore I have never used any of these "miracle" lures. My guess is they are really no better than anything else, else we'd all be using them.
I dunno, just ticks me off to see these high profile anglers pushing things like this on people. The market is bloated enough with gimmicks. Do we really need Babe Winkleman pushing this?

MONEY, It's all for MONEY. The reason, when you watch the commercials, that they show them catching huge fish on these lures is strictly because they are fishing in stocked lakes that hold huge fish.
Like any lure they have a time and a place. It's just the Helicopter Lure all over again without Roland Martin.

Thats the one thing you can give Charlie Ingram.. his fishing university is a half hour commercial... but they dont fish private lakes... they fish the same water we do...
i tend to watch classic patterns, the bass pros, and strike king team journal... they actually teach... its nice. |

Every Christmas I give one of these kits to a fishing buddy, or a fisherman in the family, as a gift from "Old Santa". I have a drawing every year to see who the unlucky recipient will be. "Old Santa" occasionally strikes me too (busted up rods, reels & other assorted junk). We have a lot of fun with it. Sooo...if you're "lucky enough" to end up with one of these, there's always "Old Santa".

I have no doubt Banjo Minnows will work in the right situation, but then all lures work in the right situation. There is no such thing as a magic bait, or one that always works. Anything advertised as such is just a money making gimmick.
