Default Fishing Lottery

One of the local country clubs out here just announced a lottery to fish their ponds. Apparently they have three ponds with Bass that keep eating their baby ducklings.
Supposedly they added a few bass 10+ years ago and now they have gotten out of hand sonce they have never allowed fishing before.
The plan is that they will close the course one day and allow about 20 fishermen to come in and help alleviate the population.
After I entered the lottery, I also applied for a DFG permit to transplant any I catch into my local pond.
I have no idea what the odds are, but the lotto is only open for week with the fishing scheduled for next Tuesday.

Good luck me.....

You know, that's probably not a bad idea. If you KNOW they're attacking baby ducks, you've already figured out a pattern.

Good luck on the draw.

The way it sounds, you could catch one just by fishin with a bare hook.

I am pretty sure that the baby duck thing is out. If I lucky enough to get selected for this, I was going to try some very disruptive top-water lures.
I am sure I will have thrown every thing in the bag at them before the day is out.
