The winter show season has started and the monkey is out for blood

. Best of luck to you newbie's who are first timers. Make sure you leave an offering of your choice: money, liquor, and/or a virgin or he'll find you where ever you live.

I have found a cure!

I had a discussion with my wife about the bait monkey and she responded that it was okay. She explained that if I gave in to the Bait monkey she would be forced to listen to his sister the Gucci monkey.

That helped a lot for me

Hopefully there will be more vendors this weekend. Last year the KC sportshow sucked. It better be better than last year. Or i will not be back. I'm going saturday. I'll let yeahh know how it went.

Yeah when you have to make the choice to have enough money to go fishing vs buying stuff you don't need the baitmonkey doesn't come around too often here.

My bait monkey came home with a new set of custom made pontoons for my pontoon boat.

Wife decided it was time to upgrade the mattress' on the bed. Anyone been mattress shoping lately? Her mattress monkey was way more expensive than my bait monkey.

I understand that you guyz up north have a BaitMonkey "season", of course with the winter, snow, blizzards, lakes freezing over n´such ( you don´t think I was going to let that one get away and not rubbing it in

), consider yourselves "lucky" to a certain point of view, we us guyz down here in the South don´t have a BaitMonkey "season" ....... the danged critter lives at our doorstep all year long and it ain´t pretty !

3dkicker, I searched all over Roanoke today for a virgin and couldn't find one so the bait monkey went with me to Gander Mountain. He made me buy some Rage Tail trailers for the jigs I just got from C-rig. By the way they look awesome, he builds a good jig.

Well the baitmonkey did bite at the show. I got 2 Minnows raps @ 5.00 bucks a piece. I got a KINGFISHER reel. Looks like Abu 5600 but a bit nicer. It has billet Aum. handle. The show was smaller this year. But there were allot more Lure vendors which was nice. Then that afternoon i went to BPS to buy a Crank'n Stick for the reel. They where having a boat show at the bps Indep. location. Over all it was pretty good show.
