Couple I Worked On This Week
Here's a few from this week that I had a chance to paint.
First try at Baby Bass. Not too satisfied with it, will be tweaking it the next couple of weeks. - - Here's a new one called Sungill. This odd colored sunfish/bluegill was hooked and he emailed it to me to see if I could match it. - - Finally I did a little extra shading to my Pumpkinseed to try and wake it up some. |

Marc, great work! Those are some very nice customs, I especially like the extra shading you added to the pumpkinseed color. I think you bass color is coming along nice also, wonder what it would look like with a paler shade of green on the bottom.

Great looking baits man! I really like the pumpkinseed a lot! I agree with Tavery, a little more contrast on the bottom of the baby bass might make a big difference. Nice work!

Those look good Mark. Deffinate eye catchers. The bass reminds me of the fish we catch out of cypress lakes and dead rivers around here, really dark fish. Did you hand paint the vert lines on the bass like the dots on the pumpkinseed?

Thanks guys!
Bubba, That's right, both were done using a brush. Most people will use stencils because it really does save time. But I like using a paint brush, they're consistent, but no two are the same just like mother nature intended. |

I might have to look you up next time I am on the coast. Trade a rod build for some custom colored cranks hahahahaha

Those are all great Marc. The pumpkinseed is my favorite. I'll take 10 of them.
