Bass feed on Shad ALL YEAR LONG.

Same way you fish a crank or s spinnerbait-just chunk and wind. Speed it up, slow it down, yo-yo it, stop/start it-you get the idea.

What swimbaits do you have I might be able to give you some pointers....What structure do you have and what are water the water conditions.

Reb and Lizard are both right... but I might be able to help you dial it in more. I throw swimabits alot out here on the left coast

Ok if its the 4 inch size with single hook in the back....I would find long points with shallow water with deep water close by. Throw it shallow and work it on the bottom. Let it sink to the bottom and work it back like a crankbait. But the key for bigger fish is on the bottom. Big Bass are lazy by nature. Remember a bass will eat the biggest meal/meals they can with out expending alot of energy. Work it in creek channels too.....
