Default What a day

It's been like mid december here the last three weeks, so when they forcast a high of 45 and partly cloudy today, I decided yestereday to get out today. So I got up, did a few things that HAD to be done first, then headed out. It was cloudy, about 45 and the wind was supposed to stay at between 5 - 10 mph for the day. Compared to what we've been having this was a heat wave!!! Well.....some weatherman forgot the second half of the forcast. The wind whipped real good. I'd say at least 30 mph and the temps dropped to 32 degrees. Then the snow started up and was comming down pretty hard. I was the only one fool enough to be on the lake today, lol. This was the first day this year I have been skunked. I think that after 3 weeks of near freezing to below freezing temps, the bite if off for now. About froze my fingers off today. But ya know what they say, a day of bad fishin beats a dinner with the inlaws....er ummm...somethin like that.
