Lure Pictures
Since we were recently talking about photography, I though I'd share some of my practice shots of fishing lures. This is in a DIY Lightbox (for those who don't know photography, it's a box where the sides are open. then the openings are covered in something to diffuse the light, I used a white sheet. And then lights are shined through the sides and maybe top to illuminate the objet w/o sharp shadows)
First is one of my jigs. Next up is a Lucky Craft crankbait (one of the two I own) I'm sure you guys remember this next one. This if one of the two fire poppers the member sac airbrushed. And one last of one the sweetest looking reel I own. By the way, PhotoRebel4 is my username on the photography forum I'm on (just in case anyone wondered) and I didn't want to have to create another watermark and save four more copies to put on here. So pretend it says "(C) BigBassin144 Photography" Let me know what you think. BB

BB, I love that jig! One of the best bass catching lures I have in my tackle box.

Nice ingenuity on your own litebox, BB144.
Do you have a macro lens yet? If you get a good macro lens, you can get up close enough to capture all of the crazy tiny detail, without having to make aperture/shutter compromises. I really like the depth-of-field you got on your crankbait! Nice work!

Thanks nofear.
Unfortunately, I don't have a macro lens let. these were all taken with my 18-55mm kit lens. All were taken at f/8, ISO 100, and exposure ranging from 1/8-1/20. BB

I'm not certain but think that to pass the legalese for a Copyright notice, a date must be included. e.g. (c) 2009, PhotoRebel4 Photography
